There are seven performance units in the new City and Guilds 2357 qualifi cation Installing Electrotechnical Systems. Each chapter in this book covers one of the seven performance units 311 to 318.
Competence in the essential safety outcomes such as safe isolation and risk assessment must be demonstrated on more than one occasion and are therefore included in more than one performance unit and chapter in this book. The performance units will be assessed by the observation of a task or outcome plus a portfolio of evidence or assignments related to the task or outcome.
