About this book:
There are seven performance units in the new City and Guilds 2357 qualifi cation Installing Electrotechnical Systems. Each chapter in this book covers one of the  seven performance units 311 to 318.

Competence in the essential safety outcomes such as safe isolation and risk assessment must be demonstrated on more than one  occasion and are therefore included in more than one performance unit and chapter in this book.  The performance units will be assessed by the observation of a task or outcome plus a portfolio of evidence or assignments related to the task or outcome.  This book will assist readers to assemble their portfolio of evidence and to complete the assignments required for each performance unit.  The portfolio of evidence will be assessed by City and Guilds approved assessors at your place of work or training centre. For this reason there are no multiple choice questions at the end of each chapter in this book, as there are in Basic Electrical Installation Work 6 th edition.
